National Governors Association Takes Stand Against Trump Partisanship

The unprecedented decision stems from the Trump administration’s controversial move to extend invitations exclusively to Republican state leaders, effectively sidelining Democratic governors from what has historically been a crucial bipartisan forum for federal-state dialogue.
The NGA, tasked with representing all 55 state and territorial governors, declared its inability to facilitate an event marred by such overt partisanship.
