    SAN FRANCISCO – Cloudflare, the widely used San Francisco-based internet infrastructure company, confirmed early Tuesday morning that it had resolved a technical issue that caused widespread service disruptions, temporarily impacting users of major platforms spanning artificial intelligence, entertainment, and public transit.

    The outage highlighted the critical, yet often unseen, role that companies providing internet backbone services play in maintaining global connectivity and commerce.

    Cloudflare, which specializes in protecting websites from malicious online threats (such as DDoS attacks) and speeding up content delivery, reported the issue beginning early Tuesday. The service disruptions immediately triggered access problems and lag for a diverse range of clients globally.

    Among the highest-profile services affected was OpenAI’s ChatGPT, with users reporting error messages during the outage. Simultaneously, millions of “League of Legends” players faced login and connectivity issues.

    The disruption was not limited to entertainment and technology sectors. Infrastructure failures at Cloudflare also had knock-on effects for essential public utilities, including access difficulties reported by users trying to utilize digital services provided by the New Jersey Transit system.

    Cloudflare acknowledged the event via its official status page and social media channels. The company initially noted that it was investigating a system fault, leading to delayed or dropped connections across its network.

    By Tuesday morning, the company provided an update confirming that the technical issue had been identified and resolved, stating that service reliability had been restored for all clients. Cloudflare did not immediately release detailed information regarding the specific root cause of the system failure.

    If the Chinese were to hack the U.S. government like Elon Musk has, it would be considered a major act of cyber warfare. Since Elon is a government contractor, he now has the power to make policy decisions that benefit his own companies and harm his competitors, following the Russian oligarch model. We are currently in a lawless realm, and this chaos is likely to continue until he is stopped. Government employees are left with the tough choice of either conforming or protecting the public. Meanwhile, Elon is busy sabotaging America’s soft power and influence in Africa, while he and other tech overlords scheme on how to avoid European regulations.

    The Senate’s top appropriator, Susan Collins, a Maine Republican, is sounding the alarm on the excessive influence of billionaire Elon Musk within the Trump administration and federal agencies. Collins believes that the Trump administration is pushing the country towards an authoritarian society where the rule of law and the Constitution are being disregarded.

    It seems that under President Trump, we are witnessing a government that caters to the billionaire class rather than the people. Elon Musk’s reckless approach to government spending is now targeting Medicare and Medicaid, as reported in a recent Wall Street Journal article. The headline read, “DOGE Aides Search Medicare Agency Payment Systems for Fraud,” revealing that Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency is poking around the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. What Musk plans to do with this access remains a mystery, but I’m sure it will be nothing short of brilliant.

    The relentless onslaught by Musk to dismantle our government, upon which citizens depend—our social safety nets, Medicare, the FBI, and the CIA—causes immense harm. When Trump finally leaves office and America comes to terms with the devastation, it will take years, if not decades, to repair the damage inflicted on our society.

  • Make American Great Again…Make TikTok American!

    The Supreme Court unanimously upheld a federal law on Wednesday that mandates TikTok to cease operations in the United States unless its Chinese parent company can divest the U.S. entity by January 19th. This decision comes as Congress, in a bipartisan effort, has deemed divestiture necessary to address well-founded national security concerns surrounding TikTok’s data collection practices and its ties to a foreign adversary.

    Former President Trump, who initially supported a ban on TikTok during his first term but now opposes its shutdown, had requested the justices to postpone the ban’s implementation date to allow his administration the opportunity to negotiate a resolution upon taking office on January 20th. Interestingly, TikTok’s CEO Shou Chew is set to attend Trump’s inauguration on Monday and has been invited to a section reserved for dignitaries and esteemed guests.

    The legislation at the heart of this case is the Protecting Americans from Foreign Controlled Applications Act, enacted in 2024 to address national security concerns by prohibiting the use of apps controlled by “foreign adversaries,” including China.

    It is evident that the Chinese government is utilizing the data obtained through TikTok to exploit it against the United States. Users willingly provide information to a foreign government intent on undermining our democratic system. Have we forgotten China’s provocative actions, such as flying balloons over our airspace, interfering in our elections, and most recently, hacking into our government systems?

    The pressing question remains: why is TikTok unwilling to comply with the law and sell to an American entity to safeguard the data? It appears that the Chinese government seeks this information. Trump appears he may not facilitate this transfer of TikTok to an American company.

    So much for America first. It is imperative for Americans to remain vigilant before it is too late. TikTok needs to be an American company!!

    I understand that many may vehemently oppose our views, yet the undeniable truth stands unwavering and resolute.

  • Trump’s Christmas Present to America

    Elon Musk, the man who seems to have more influence in government than some actual politicians, has managed to capture the attention of President Trump and the Republican party. Despite not holding an official government position, Musk has somehow convinced everyone that he can magically find $2 trillion in budget cuts without touching any of the sacred cows like Medicare, Social Security, or the military. It’s truly a mystery where he plans to find this money, but hey, who needs specifics when you have Elon Musk on your side, right?

    Well, isn’t Trump just a ray of sunshine? On Wednesday, he decided to throw a wrench in a perfectly good bipartisan budget deal, potentially leading to a government shutdown after midnight on Saturday. And then, as if that wasn’t enough, he proudly presented a deal with Republicans on Thursday that even Democratic lawmakers and President Joe Biden found utterly unacceptable. Surprise, surprise, it didn’t even come close to passing in the House. And let’s not forget about Trump’s brilliant idea to slap tariffs left and right, which the Congressional Budget Office warned would only end up hurting the economy instead of actually bringing in more revenue to cover his precious tax cuts. Oh, what a genius we have in the White House. Merry Christmas America.
