    As global crises rage on, with headlines saturated by international conflict, domestic turmoil, and a faltering economy, Trump brazenly dashes away from the White House once more, seeking refuge in his private golf club in New Jersey for yet another weekend of indulgence.

    Trump is set to leave Washington at 2:00 PM, long before the usual workday wraps up. Oh, how many of us would cherish the chance to escape the relentless grind, to walk away from our unfinished tasks and embrace a taste of freedom!

    The president’s hasty exit highlights a troubling trend that critics slam as grossly misplaced priorities, prioritizing fundraising galas and comfortable getaways while neglecting the urgent responsibilities of governance.

    While Elon Musk is busy cutting slashing jobs, Donald Trump is out on the golf course, spending taxpayer money like it’s going out of style. Trump’s golfing habit has cost American taxpayers over $18 million since he took office, and he shows no signs of slowing down. Today marks his 13th day on the golf course out of his first 48 days in office – priorities, right?

    Not only does Trump insist on playing golf at his Florida courses, but he also makes sure to arrive in style on Air Force One, with his motorcade vehicles being flown in on military transports. Because, you know, nothing says “fiscal responsibility” like a fleet of vehicles being airlifted for a golf outing.

    Meanwhile, as Musk is making “illegal” decisions and cutting jobs, many are veterans, Trump is living it up on the green. Priorities, people. Priorities.

    Trump’s presidential campaign incessantly complained about inflation and rising food costs, pointing the finger at former President Joe Biden for the soaring grocery prices. The majority of voters made it clear that the economy was a key factor in the 2024 election, if not the most important one. “First and foremost, we need to provide economic relief to our citizens,” Trump declared at the Republican National Convention in July. “From Day 1, we will work to lower prices and make America affordable again. Because let’s face it, it’s not affordable right now. People can’t survive like this.”

    However, it seems like none of his initial orders actually address food prices or inflation. So, what exactly is he doing?

    Oh, just playing golf.

    President Donald Trump decided to hit the golf course on Monday, despite telling reporters on Air Force One that he would be too busy to play at the beginning of the week. Images of the president enjoying a round at his Doral golf club in Miami were shared by Fox News correspondent Aishah Hasnie. This leisurely outing may just help Trump surpass the number of rounds he played during his first term – a whopping 289 rounds that cost taxpayers at least $150 million for travel and security. But hey, who needs to worry about the economy when there’s golf to be played, right?
