    As Chamberlain so infamously said:

    “I believe it is peace for our time.”

    However, history has shown us that this approach is nothing short of disastrous. Chamberlain’s appeasement policy ultimately failed, as Hitler’s aggression continued, and Britain declared war on Germany after the invasion of Poland in 1939. The consequences of this failed policy were catastrophic, with millions of lives lost in World War II.

    General George Patton once said, “Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser.” It’s time for Team Trump to remember that America plays to win, and that means standing with our allies, defending NATO, and protecting our national security interests. Let’s not sacrifice our values for a quick fix.
