The rewriting of history has now begun. Elon Musk has been seen making an unmistakable Nazi salute, yet the MAGA and ultra-conservative press are attempting to whitewash the incident. A reporter even lost their job for posting about Musk’s gesture on Instagram.
Despite efforts to downplay it, Musk clearly performed the Nazi “Heil Hitler” salute, a gesture associated with a mass murderer and warmonger. It is undeniable that the salute is reminiscent of Hitler.
Musk’s recent involvement in German politics, where he has endorsed the far-right Alternative für Deutschland before the upcoming federal election, is concerning. In Germany, a deliberate diagonal right arm thrust in the air can be grounds for legal action.
It is evident that Musk’s gesture was intentional and not a spur-of-the-moment action. Only Elon Musk knows the true meaning behind his actions.
