  • We told you so … Medicare cuts

Here we go… The GOP has released a list outlining their plan to slash $479 billion from Medicare. Surprise, surprise! The Trump Republicans have set their sights on Medicare, aiming to make massive cuts. Looks like those Trump campaign promises are going down the drain.

What does this mean for you? Well, let’s break it down with an example. If a Medicare recipient has a heart attack in Oklahoma, the costs would be different compared to the same procedure in Florida. The GOP’s brilliant idea is to provide the same amount of funding regardless of location. So, if you happen to live in an area where medical care is more expensive, tough luck – you’ll be stuck with any additional costs.

To all the retired MAGA voters out there, I hope you’re still thrilled with your decision to support the Republican Congress and Trump. You wanted it, you got it! Enjoy those Medicare cuts, courtesy of your favorite politicians.

  • Season 2 of the Trump Show

Beginning January 20, get ready for Season 2 of Trump Show! I thought we canceled it four years ago?

Brace yourself for the most trivial and weighty decisions to come straight from Trump’s Oval Office.

Does Trump really believe that taking over Greenland is crucial for national security? If so, how will he make it happen? If not, why is he picking fights with a NATO ally that helps us with security in the region?

On more important matters, what actual policies will Trump implement regarding China, Russia, and Iran? Will they actually work? Will he magically bring peace to Ukraine? And how will his trade and tax plans affect the economy? Will his immigration policies benefit the country?

What about groceries and gas prices plummeting like a lead balloon like he promised? So far, it seems his tiny magical hands are great for making confetti but not so much for slashing prices!

How can we genuinely trust that tariffs will benefit us without increasing prices for Americans? No economist has reached that conclusion; rather, the evidence suggests that it will exacerbate the situation.

The time for Trump to just talk is almost up. The political theater of the past few months, where Trump has been on cloud nine and his opponents have been sulking, is coming to an end.

As President, Trump will be judged by his actions, not his words. And he can’t blame Congress for any failures, since his party controls it. The last time a president had this much power, it didn’t end well for George W. Bush.

Get ready for the next four years of chaos and uncertainty. Trump’s policies will have serious consequences, both at home and abroad. Our political system, our country, and the world will suffer.

That’s why it’s up to us in the opposition to try and stop Trump from causing too much damage. A restrained Trump is a slightly less destructive Trump – for the world, our nation, and our democracy.

We must stand firm for our democracy to endure.

  • Judge Cannon has blocked the public release of these highly anticipated reports on Jan 6

The attempt to downplay the events of January 6th was crucial to Trump’s potential return to power.

Trump-appointed U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon has decided to play the role of gatekeeper for special counsel Jack Smith’s reports on President-elect Donald Trump’s classified documents case and election subversion case. In a move that is sure to keep everyone on the edge of their seats.

According to Justice Department rules, special counsels must provide reports detailing their legal conclusions at the conclusion of their investigations. Just as Garland previously made public Special Counsel Robert Hur’s findings on President Biden’s handling of classified information, he will also release Smith’s report on Trump, albeit with necessary redactions.

Trump’s insistence on suppressing Smith’s report serves as a stark reminder of his aversion to truthful depictions of January 6th, particularly those supported by sworn testimony from numerous individuals, including former associates. Let’s not forget Trump’s disdain for the House January 6th Committee.

If we ever hope to restore integrity to American politics, we must confront the reality of January 6th head-on.

Of course, Trump will continue his efforts to rewrite the narrative of January 6th. He will pardon those involved in storming the Capitol, appoint conspiracy theorists to key positions, and attack anyone who dares to challenge him, from Liz Cheney to Jack Smith. While some of Trump’s more respectable defenders may not openly celebrate January 6th, they will certainly downplay or excuse the events.

For the sake of truth and democracy, it is imperative that the report be made available to the public. We need honesty and transparency in politics.  It appears Trump is afraid of the truth.

  • The economy and jobs perform better under Democratic administrations…just the facts

The performance of the U.S. economy has shown a consistent trend of stronger growth under Democratic presidents compared to Republican presidents in the modern era. Across various metrics such as total job growth, unemployment rates, economic expansion, manufacturing job creation, manufacturing investment, small business development, and national debt management, Democratic administrations have consistently outperformed their Republican counterparts.

This disparity can be attributed to the differing economic policies pursued by each party. Democrats have focused on investing in the middle class, supporting small businesses, and enhancing economic resilience following economic downturns. In contrast, Republicans have often prioritized tax cuts that primarily benefit the wealthy, which have failed to stimulate economic growth or pay for themselves.

It is noteworthy that of the 11 recessions that have occurred in the modern era, 10 have originated during Republican presidencies. Additionally, data shows that the unemployment rate tends to be lower at the conclusion of Democratic presidencies compared to Republican presidencies.

Recent examples include the decrease in the unemployment rate from 6.4% at the beginning of the Biden-Harris administration to 4.1% in September 2024, while it rose from 4.7% at the start of President Donald Trump’s term to 6.4% upon his departure.

Furthermore, economic growth has been more robust under Democratic presidents, with real GDP expanding by 10% during the Biden-Harris administration compared to 9% under President Trump. The United States has also demonstrated a quicker recovery to pre-pandemic GDP levels compared to other G7 nations, surpassing pre-pandemic forecasts from the Congressional Budget Office.

In conclusion, the data clearly illustrates that Democratic administrations have consistently fostered stronger economic performance in the United States compared to Republican administrations.

  • Trump and MAGA Blame Migrants for New Orleans Attack … Falsely

A true leader is expected to embody qualities such as truth, honesty, and composure during challenging times, like the recent New Orleans Truck Attack.

However, what did Trump do? He immediately jumped on the bandwagon of spreading anti-immigrant misinformation, following a flawed report from Fox News. Instead of waiting for the facts to emerge, he blamed completely unrelated criminals supposedly crossing into the U.S. from abroad. Even after the suspect was identified as a U.S. citizen from Texas, Trump failed to correct his initial assertion.

And let’s not forget Marjorie Taylor Greene, who also decided to blame migrants for the New Orleans attack without any evidence to support her claim. Once again, the suspect turned out to be an American-born citizen.

It seems that Trump and his MAGA supporters are desperately trying to pin the New Orleans attack on the border, despite all evidence pointing to the contrary. How surprising. According to the FBI, crime rates have decreased. However, politicians continue to selectively use statistics to support their own narratives.

Ah, the delightful right-wing propaganda machine, tirelessly working to pin all violence and societal issues on migrants and immigration. How original.

  • Contemptible fools’ who must be removed from Republican Party

It’s abundantly clear now that Trump’s migration promises are nothing but hot air when it comes to his billionaire buddies.

Take, for example, the ongoing debate over H-1B visas. Musk, Ramaswamy, and their Silicon Valley cronies have discovered that it’s more lucrative to hire foreign tech engineers than American-born ones. Are our colleges inferior to Indian ones? Absolutely not. It’s simply more profitable for Musk to exploit these lower-paid H-1B visa holders

When Make America Great Again supporters finally saw the light and called out this hypocrisy, what did Musk do? He had the audacity to label his fellow Trump supporters as “contemptible fools” who need to be purged from the Republican Party entirely.

Despite the apparent defeat of the “America First” hardliners in the recent debate over H-1B worker visas, President-elect Donald Trump’s apparent support for the “tech bros” has not deterred Steve Bannon from claiming victory over the “embarrassing” Elon Musk.

In a not-so-shocking turn of events, the former Trump strategist, who once likened Musk to a “toddler” following a profanity-laced tirade against his right-wing critics, has declared that there was never a MAGA “civil war” on immigrant workers because Musk simply isn’t “tough enough” and ultimately “folded” under pressure from the far-right backlash.

It’s crystal clear that all it takes is a fat wallet to sway Trump’s opinions – that is, if he even has any opinions left to begin with.

  • MAGA is given a reality check on IMMIGRATION and his promises

One of the main reasons Trump miraculously won the election was his bold promises on groceries and immigration. Shockingly, it turns out that Trump wasn’t exactly truthful about lowering grocery and gas prices. What a surprise, right?

And now, it seems like his immigration pledges are also turning out to be complete fabrications, much to the liking of his wealthy supporters like Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk. They’re all about bringing in more H-1B foreign specialty workers, because who needs American job seekers, right?

Immigration was supposed to be the top priority for the MAGA crowd, but it looks like Trump is just openly lying to them now. It’s becoming increasingly clear that Trump has no principles whatsoever. Oh, what a shocker.

Trump’s comments in recent articles already suggest he will break his campaign promises before he even takes office.

  • DOGE is DODGING Reality

President-elect Donald Trump, in his infinite wisdom, has graciously appointed Musk and Ramaswamy as co-chiefs of the advisory panel. His brilliant plan involves extending and expanding the already massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations that were passed during his first term. Because who needs a balanced budget when you can just keep throwing money at the rich, am I right?

And let’s not forget about cutting Medicare, which would be a real challenge considering Trump promised it would be off-limits in his second term. I mean, who needs healthcare when you can just rely on the power of positive thinking, am I right?

Cutting Medicaid would also be a tough sell, what with all those pesky states, doctors, and millions of people who actually rely on the program. But hey, who cares about them when you can just keep lining the pockets of the wealthy, right?

Oh, the joys of politics, Trump style.

  • Government Sold to Highest Bidder: Billionaires Corrupting Power Revealed

Oh, how fascinating it is to observe the elite club of billionaires, where individuals like Donald Trump and Elon Musk seem to operate under their own set of rules. It appears that when you reach a certain level of wealth, the constraints of society no longer apply to you. Quite the exclusive perk, wouldn’t you say?

In the midst of a deluge of shady money and corporate influence flooding our political landscape, it’s no shocker that the ever-greedy president-elect-in-name-only, Trump, is putting together the wealthiest administration in history. Jeff Tiedrich aptly dubs it a “fucktangle of oligarchs” added to his Confederacy of Sewer Clowns. We’ve got 13 billionaires on board so far, including the likes of Space Nazi Musk and biotech bigwig Vivek Ramaswamy. Their mission? To streamline government by treating it like a heartless business and slashing essential services for us non-billionaires – you know, stuff like food, heat, healthcare, and education. All in the name of ruthless profit and a made-up mandate to seize control of the government “for the American people.”

Forget Trump’s muddled claims of being a champion for the working class – the struggle is real when you’re trying to afford gas, eggs, bacon, and butter. These are clearly foreign concepts to a guy who probably hasn’t set foot in a grocery store in ages.

But hey, who cares about the little guys when all Trump really wants to do is line the pockets of his wealthy buddies? They’re lining up at Mar-A-Hell-Go to kiss his ring and bask in the glow of the insecure, unloved scion of a despot. Everyone wants to be his BFF, including Jeff Bezos, who’s laying it on thick. It’s a competition between Bezos and Musk to win Trump’s affections – maybe they’ll have a showdown to see who he loves more. Musk seems to be the frontrunner, though. He’s an alleged illegal alien and white supremacist who made a fortune off a car that’s deadlier than most, and somehow managed to buy his way into power by throwing millions at a willing puppet. Smart move: Musk’s bank account has been booming since the election.

  • The Puppet Master – Elon Musk

It’s quite comical how Trump, in all his old age glory, is struggling to keep up with the fast-paced world of politics. It’s almost as if Elon Musk has taken the reins and Trump is just along for the ride. The toll of the Big Macs is evident – he’s not the sharp Donald we once knew. He now rambles, forgets his whereabouts, and can’t even remember names.

Elon, being the savvy businessman he is, has seized this opportunity to further his billionaire agenda, even if it comes at the expense of us common folk. And now, he’s resorting to threats against anyone who dares to oppose him, with poor tired Trump obediently following suit.

What’s next on the agenda? Perhaps Elon will decide to dip his fingers into social security. But hey, who did you really vote for – Trump or Elon? It’s all just a big puppet show at this point.
